Mobs, Upgrades & Balance Tweaks


Just a small update this week!


Made a few small changes to the upgrade shop, now upgrades increase in price as the stages go on (more upgrades bought = the more expensive future upgrades are).

Additionally, there's now a refresh button in the shop to show you to get a new set of upgrades to buy and only 3 upgrades shown at a time. The ability to lock upgrades to save up for future stages is on the works, please keep an eye out for it in the future!


There's also been some changes to mob spawning during the stages: you'll now find even more mobs in later stages, increasing the game difficulty decently! 


Tweaks and balance changes: 

Now the magnet upgrade works in a reduced range around the player, with additional magnet upgrades increasing the pull strength/magnet range

Fixed a small bug where the bullet bounce upgrade would appear in the shop after it was already purchased.

Shield colour was changed to improve visibility.

Finally, mob drops were rebalanced to drop health less often in later stages. 


That's all for this week, next update will be a big one! I've started working on doing a full rewrite of the game from the ground up to give a bigger play field, better mob behaviours, more stages, more upgrades & an update to the high score system to give the game a better challenge~!
